The information on the following pages has been found all over the internet, in books, from snippets of information passed to us by friends and a lot of hard work by my late friend Larry McGibben

I make no apologies for anyone who is offended by the use of Confederate Flags on this website. It happened over 150 years ago, whether you like it or not it is HISTORY and we cannot change it. I abhor slavery and all it stands for, but again it happened and we cannot change it. Most of my countrymen and women who fought in the conflict didn't own slaves, a lot of them came from conditions that were just as bad.
