Here are some interesting Offical Records concerning the naval aspect of the war. Unforturnately many of the Confederate records of this part of the Rebellion were never recovered, and those that were are contained in the Navy Official Records. These were taken from the Army Official Records.

| Incident with USS Fanny | Rebs capture this one. Kinda interesting. |
| Incident with the Hannah and Breaker | An example of burning a ship rather than let it fall into enemy hands. |
| Engagement at Plum Point: | Good gunboat action. |
